Weston-super-Mare plays host to some of the South West’s best and biggest events. From the annual beach race, to – more recently – ‘T4 on the beach’ pop music festival, there’s something to entertain everyone.

 

Heli-Days – 22nd 24th June 2018

A three day helicopter show on the seafront at Weston-super-Mare with more than 50 military and civil helicopters flying in for a unique static display over the weekend. Plus vintage military vehicles, art and craft fair, stalls and fairground entertainment for all the family.

International Balloon Fiesta – 9th – 12th August 2018

Bristol has become home to Europe’s largest hot air balloon festival. This years Fiesta promises to be the best yet, with over 100 balloons attending and expected crowds of over 500,000 people. As night falls on the Fiesta, people of all ages flock to watch the striking Night Glow on the Thursday and Saturday. Under coded instructions via radio communication, the pilots create a variety of dazzling effects from only three main commands: burn, flicker and flash. These astounding sequences are set to a special music mix.

Enduro Beach Race – 19th – 21st October 2018

Catch all the action at The Weston Beach Race; the maddest, baddest and biggest event on the off-road motorcycle calendar. Watch over 2000 competitors doing battle not just with each other, but also with the infamous dunes course.

Weston Illuminated Carnival – Friday 9th November 2018

Weston-super-Mare being the last port of call of the Somerset carnival circuit always results in an extravaganza of family entertainment. Over 140 entries make for a spectacular show piece of lights, music, costume and family FUN.
